Rescue - Rehabilitate - Educate - Adopt

             Volunteers              Welcome!
Holyland Donkey Haven is always in need of volunteers! We need our volunteers to be dedicated, kind and responsible. Volunteers may help with feeding, watering, grooming, cleaning pens, helping out at events and so on. If you have a special talent- feel free to use it! We are a family oriented group and welcome anyone who wants to be apart of it. Age is not an issue, but a Parent/Guardian must accompany a minor child. It is not neccessary to have an equine education to volunteer. We will educate you and facilitate your learning in any way we can. We are also in need of those who are knowledgable to make repairs around the farm. Such as: electrical work (must be a certified electrician), framing, heating and cooling, etc.
We do ask that our volunteers follow the rules as stated below:

Rules:
1. Ask questions - for your safety and the animals
2. Do not hit the donkeys in any way!   Some of our donkeys have been abused and are very sensitive.
3. If you would like to go into an area with animals, please ask one of the barn managers.
4. Be respectful to any and all people who work at and visit the farm.
5. If you notice anything that is not right - please let the barn manger know so we can take action.
6. Please be tolerant and respectful of race, gender, lifestyle, religion and so on.
7. No weapons of any kind.
8. No drugs, alcohol or smoking.
9. If you have any medical needs or allergies please inform one of the barn managers.

The donkeys thrive interacting with a variety of people! Please volunteer today!
